PaintUp
PaintUp is an advanced editing layer that works alongside SketchUp — not a converter, and not a replacement. It adds powerful new capabilities directly on top of your SketchUp (SKP) files, while everything stays saved in the native SKP format.
What PaintUp adds to SketchUp:
- PBR materials — realistic, physically-based textures and materials
- Lighting — advanced lighting tools not available in standard SketchUp
- Animations (in development) — basic animation support, currently underway
Everything you create is saved directly in your SKP file — no separate format, no lock-in. When you're ready, export straight to glTF or DAE for use in other 3D applications and platforms.
